Jim Mavrikios is program manager at New Lehrhaus and co-coordinator of Friday Torah Study. Before joining New Lehrhaus, he founded Pacific Arabic, a language school in downtown San Francisco. He served as school director there from 2001 until 2020 and taught both Standard and Moroccan Arabic. Jim has also taught Arabic and Comparative Semitics at a variety of Jewish organizations, blending a deep love of language with a passion for cross-cultural learning.
