Andrew Porwancher is professor of constitutional history at Arizona State University. His book, The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton, was published by Princeton University Press and won the Journal of the American Revolution Book-of-the-Year Award. He has held fellowships at Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford, and holds a PhD from Cambridge. His first book, The Devil Himself, was adapted for the stage in Ireland.
