Zachary Mazur earned his PhD at Yale University, studying with Tim Snyder, and is currently a Senior Historian at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews. His research interests are in 20th century East Central Europe, national identity, law, and economics. As part of the POLIN Museum’s public education initiative to mark the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, he is on a spring lecture tour of key U.S. cities.
