Dr. Harry B. Radousky grew up in Chicago and has been a lifelong baseball fan since attending his first game at Wrigley Field in 1965. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) in 1982 and has been researching the physics of materials for these past 45 years. While an undergraduate at UIC, he had the privilege of studying Hebrew with Professor David Weinstein and Talmud with Rabbi Martin Goldman through a joint program with the Spertus College of Judaica. In addition to his physics research, Dr. Radousky’s current activities include teaching 6th grade Hebrew, as well as tutoring students preparing for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Since 1996 he has periodically taught a freshman college seminar on the Physics of Baseball.
