Leanne Grossman has worked as a naturalist for over a decade in the East Bay. She has guided thousands of kids and adults through diverse ecosystems, including redwood forests, bay woodlands, and along shorelines and wetlands. Applying interactive interpretative techniques, Leanne served as a naturalist for both the East Bay Regional Park District and the City of Oakland. She now works independently. Leanne is a member of Kehilla Community Synagogue, serving on three committees, including the Sacred Land Committee. For over a decade, Leanne has chaired the board of Crude Accountability, which allies with partners to hold oil companies accountable for the negative health impacts they impose on communities sited with big oil and gas operations.
