David Grossman: Documentary Film and Discussion

Dr. Vered Weiss (New Lehrhaus teacher in Spring 22) will discuss the film and Grossman’s literary works with viewers of the documentary - an intimate, emotionally charged portrait of one of Israel’s greatest writers.

Vered Weiss is the Israel Institute Teaching Fellow currently at Sonoma State University. Her fields of interest include Israeli literature, cinema and television, speculative literature, spatiality, and narrative empathy. She will be teaching the New Lehrhaus course: The Hebrews Part II: Chaim Nachman Bialik and Leah Goldberg, Tuesdays, April 12, 26 @ 7:00 – 8:15 pm, virtual on zoom.
