Part 5 of October 7th & the Israel-Gaza War: Behind and Beyond the News
The Hamas attack on October 7 and Israel’s military response in Gaza have revealed deep rifts among American Jews on how they perceive Israel, Palestinians, and the conflict. These rifts have been most apparent between generations and have provoked emotional and painful divisions among families.
The session will provide some analysis of underlying issues and tools for constructive conversations. Participants will have an opportunity to share, in small virtual groups, their own experiences and encounters and listen to and learn from each other.
