Ben Wurgaft is a writer, historian, and editor whose books include Thinking in Public: Strauss, Levinas, Arendt; Meat Planet: Artificial Flesh and the Future of Food, and Ways of Eating (with Merry I. White). He received his Ph.D from UC Berkeley and has taught at Berkeley, the New School for Social Research, Wesleyan, MIT, Amherst College, and Deerfield Academy. He is currently writing a book about puns.
