Rabbi Daniel Kohn spent 26 years teaching Jewish history, text, and thought to middle and high school students in private Jewish schools, and has served as the spiritual leader of congregations on the East Coast and the SF Bay Area. He is the author of several books on Jewish life and practice, including Surviving Your Jewish Wedding, Emerging Jewish, Jewish FAQs, Sex, Drugs and Violence in the Jewish Tradition and Kinesthetic Kabbalah. His latest book, Aikido, Principally: Practical Insights on Self-Improvement was just published in August. In addition to his rabbinic and scholarly work, Rabbi Kohn holds a Doctorate of Divinity, an M.A. in Rabbinic Literature as well as an M.A. in Instructional Technologies from San Francisco State University and has built a parallel career as a corporate trainer and sales enablement facilitator at Splunk and Meta. He is also third-degree black belt in Aikido and avid Contact Improvisation dancer. He lives in Corte Madera, in Marin County, California.
