Sheldon Lewis is rabbi emeritus of Congregation Kol Emeth in Palo Alto. As an avid believer in justice and compassion including for the earth itself, he is co-chair of the congregation's climate action team. He is the author of Torah of Reconciliation and, most recently, Letters Home: A Jewish Chaplain's Vietnam Memoir.
