Stacy Burdett works with policymakers, philanthropies, universities and other civic institutions on strategies to address antisemitism and to navigate its political abuse while ensuring a welcoming culture for Jews and all communities. During 26 years as Government Relations Director at the Anti-Defamation League and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, she’s a veteran strategist, advocate and expert witness in Congress and international bodies. She was invited by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to co-lead a conversation on understanding and rejecting antisemitism and was awarded the 2025 Roger Joseph Prize for Human Rights and Jewish Survival by Hebrew Union College. She has been an expert witness on campus antisemitism before the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary and Education Committees and on worldwide Jewish persecution for the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission. She serves on the advisory boards of the William S. Cohen Institute for Leadership & Public Service of the University of Maine, the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA), the Lillian & Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC and Tivnu: Building Justice, the nation’s only Jewish gap year program.
