Yael Biederman Galinson leads the Chevra Kadisha at her reform synagogue, Congregation Beth El in Berkeley, California. She is an End of Life Doula, a volunteer with Sutter Hospice and with Jewish Family and Children's palliative care program, and a board member of Sinai Memorial Chapel.
