Robby Adler Peckerar · Holy Spirits: Ecstatic Joy and the Wine of Torah
- Pacific Time In-Person Program

We'll begin with an enchanting teaching: just as the Hebrew word for wine (yayin) equals 70 in gematria, the Torah reveals 70 faces—70 ways of understanding and experiencing its wisdom. Like wine itself, ancient sources offer countless flavors waiting to be discovered.
From there, we'll explore a revolutionary Hasidic idea: that holiness isn't confined to the study hall or sanctuary. The Hasidic masters taught that drinking, singing, and dancing—when infused with sacred intention—become powerful acts of divine communion. Drawing from his acclaimed translation of Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav's ecstatic tales, Adler Peckerar will share rousing Hasidic melodies and invite you to experience how joy itself can be a spiritual practice.
Come ready to sip, sing, and explore together in an evening of learning that's as joyful as it is thought-provoking.
In person at a private home. (Address will be provided to registrants.)
