We all have stories to tell. This fun, highly participatory workshop will help you discover and tell stories from your own life. Along the way you'll learn the essential techniques of storytelling, helping you to bring your tales to life and find more. You'll also hear some great stories from other participants, as well as tales Joel has gathered over his many years as a travelling storyteller, so bring along friends and family.

"Jewish Christmas?" You bet! Join us for a Fiddler singalong complete with a kosher-style Chinese dinner buffet at Berkeley Hillel.

What confers sacredness onto space? Distinguished sanctuary designers will discuss how they approach the shaping of spaces meant to focus the mind and transport the soul. Stanley Saitowitz, Susie Coliver and Steve Rajninger, and Craig Hartman will describe the thinking behind sacred spaces they have designed, via introductory Zoom sessions and site visits, where you will experience their ideas in vivo at two contemporary synagogues and a Catholic church.
