Mark Jacobs served as board chair and then associate director of Urban Adamah: Jewish Community Farm in Berkeley, CA, during its first 8 years. He also served as founding executive director of Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (COEJL), a national Jewish environmental organization, from 1994 to 2003.
