Four-session series in partnership with Urban Adamah
An immersive exploration of the tunes, words, and significance of Kabbalat Shabbat (Welcoming the Sabbath on Friday Evening). Each week will focus on a different aspect of Kabbalat Shabbat, beginning with a short teaching led by esteemed guest scholars, preceded by dinner and schmoozing and followed by a singing circle led by Urban Adamah's Ritual Director, Elaina Marshalek.
Rabbi Dorothy Richmond will ground us in the formation and road map of the Kabbalat Shabbat service and guide us in deepening our connection to the prayers through mindfulness.
